H.E.A.R.T. Family Program
Heartview acknowledges that recovery is a journey that has many pathways and to assist individuals on their journey it is important that we embrace the family unit. Recovery can destabilize intimate and family relationships that have survived the pain of active addiction. Positive family support of recovery efforts significantly influences long-term recovery outcomes. In building a recovery-orientated system of care, the family system needs to be given the choices and opportunities to achieve their full potential and hope of recovery.
Helping Everyone Achieve Recovery Today, or the H.E.A.R.T. program, will assist family member and those in recovery to discover the tools for a more enriching journey. This strengths-based education and support program will capitalize on families and individual's strengths and resiliency. The bi-level program of education and support will be enhanced by a private on-line social network. The lessons they learn, the connections they make and the progress they achieve will be reinforced and continued by the on-line family recovery network.
The H.E.A.R.T. program at Heartview Foundation meets on Monday nights. The format starts with educational information presented at 6pm and sharing and support portion at 7pm. H.E.A.R.T. meets in the main Heartview building located at 101 East Broadway Bismarck, ND.
