Darcy Olson, M.Ed., LAC Joins Heartview Staff

Darcy Olson recently joined Heartview’s staff. He is from Williston, ND, but returns to North Dakota after 24 years in Minnesota working at a variety of positions in the chemical dependency field. Most recently, Darcy was in private practice offering two outpatient programs to jail inmates in Becker County, MN.
Darcy obtained a BA degree from Minot State University in 1986, majoring in addiction studies, and earned his Masters of Education degree in 1988 from North Dakota State University, with a focus on addiction studies.
“It’s good to be back in North Dakota, closer to family. Bismarck has grown into a wonderful place to live, and I feel very fortunate to be part of the Heartview staff. There is a dedication to quality care for patients here that I respect and am proud to be a part of,” says Darcy.
Darcy is married to Mary, who works for St. Alexius Foundation, and together they have six adult children, with six grandchildren. Darcy’s interests include: bike riding, disc golf, taking weekend trips with Mary, and playing the piano.
