Inpatient Services
If you need residential treatment or you are unsure what level of treatment you need, please contact the intake department by calling 701-751-6129. Intake office staff are often on the phone and may not be able to answer immediately. Please leave a voicemail and include:
- First and Last Name
- Date of Birth
- Telephone Number
Calling the intake department is the first step to receiving answers about insurance or availability of residential treatment at our Bismarck, Cando and Dickinson locations.
Outpatient Services
If you are specifically interested in outpatient services, come to Heartview's outpatient evaluation walk-in services at 101 E Broadway, Bismarck, Monday through Thursday, from 8-10 a.m. No appointment is needed; however, evaluation slots may fill quickly. If this happens, you may be asked to return the next day. Please note, due to increased demand and staffing limitations, only a few evaluation slots may be available each day. Please be patient with our staff and other people waiting. The number of patients we can see depends each day on staff availability.
Through the walk-in process, staff will review insurance and payment options and patients will be asked to provide a drug test and breathalyzer. Coverage or payment will need to be in place prior to receiving an evaluation at the walk-in clinic. If you do not yet have insurance and are interested in getting the process started before arriving at walk-in, call 701-222-0386 and choose option 6. Staff will assist patients in applying for Medicaid or the ND Substance Use Voucher.
