Outpatient services are for patients able to live in a safe, sober home environment and come to Heartview on a regular basis for treatment. At the time of your evaluation, trained staff will determine which treatment level is best for you. Once that determination is made, our caring staff will help you get to the right place, and your healing will begin.
Partial Hospitalization/Day Treatment
Patients who require near daily monitoring, support and interventions to begin the process of change and recovery are assigned to this level of treatment. This five-day-per week program will allow you to stay in your home environment, while giving you needed support. The program is held Monday through Thursday 8:15 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. and Friday 8:15 a.m.-12 p.m.
Alongside group therapy with your counselor, you will learn about other areas related to your recovery. Topics such as seeking safety, mental health, relapse prevention, spirituality, art, big book study, nutrition/wellness, tobacco cessation will be covered. Heartview also invites community speakers to share their story or share resources such as Job Service, Smart Recovery, or Face it Together. You will also be assessed and monitored by a nurse and assisted with any needs related to medications or medical conditions.
IOP/Aftercare/Individual Counseling
IOP groups meet for nine hours per week over two to three days and are held both during the day and evening. Aftercare is held once per week either during the day or evening. Individual counseling is utilized as clinically appropriate and sessions are typically held during the day. This level of care is intended for patients who have either completed other levels of care or who need personalized support.
