Heartview Foundation Announces New Board Leadership

At its October board meeting, the Heartview Foundation elected new officers for the 2023 calendar year.

Darrell Nitschke, the western regional director for Congressman Kelly Armstrong, will begin his first one-year term as board president in January. He will replace Lance Schreiner, a Bismarck litigation specialist, who will remain on the board as a member-at-large.

Lisa Mosser was re-elected for another one-year term as vice-president and treasurer, and Don Wright was re-elected as secretary.

Schreiner was first elected to the board in Oct. 2011 and has served as president since Oct. 2019.

“I am grateful to the staff of Heartview for care they provided to my family at a dark moment in our lives,” says Schreiner. “I consider it a privilege and a labor of love to serve on the Heartview board.”

“I am very passionate of Heartview’s program and its positive impact in our society,” says Nitschke.  “Heartview knows how to address the issues of addiction both on outpatient and inpatient levels. I have always been impressed with programs, staff and administration as they seek to create a better tomorrow for the many clients and their families in the Heartview program.  I see an ever-better future as Heartview addresses opiates, fentanyl and other progressive addictions.”
